Hertz Furniture Systems is a fourth-generation, family-owned business. Our family roots began in the lumber industry in the late 1800s and logically branched out to the creation of an institutional and educational furniture manufacturing operation in Toronto, Canada in 1952. In 2003, we launched the highly acclaimed Academia Furniture Industries to further promote our corporate philosophy.
John and Aida Gravlee met in 1998 and it was love at first site!!! With John's 25 years of experience in the industry and Aida's 20 years experience in sales and customer service together they have created a strong commitment to each other, their family and their customers!!! They have made Furniture Leisure Inc. the resource for the hospitality, parks and recreation, commercial business and leisure industry. It is tasked with upholding standards of high quality, strength, and excellence!!!

After experiencing a 14% drop that year, furniture production fuelled by export demands reached an estimated USD1,828 million in 2000. There are an estimated 750 furniture manufacturing and export companies in Malaysia, with another 1,500 smaller concerns playing a supporting role.
