Announcing the Florida Journal of Educational Administration & Policy. FJEAP is an online, blind, peer-reviewed journal published by the department of Educational Administration & Policy at the University of Florida’s College of Education. The journal seeks to serve as an outlet for poignant and rigorous research and study, as well as provide a venue for quality research reviews and thought provoking commentaries.
The mission of the faculty in the Department of Educational Administration is to prepare educational leaders who have the knowledge, skill, and values required to build learning communities. We do so by advancing knowledge which improves professional practice, providing service to education institutions and society, and practicing and modeling ethical leadership. Our activities and programs are driven by a commitment to leadership preparation, research and service.
The University Council for Educational Administration is a consortium of major research universities with doctoral programs in educational leadership and policy. The dual mission of UCEA is to improve the preparation of educational leaders and promote the development of professional knowledge in school improvement and administration. UCEA headquarters is currently hosted by the University of Texas at Austin
