Our program attracts people who have already created a measure of success for themselves yet they feel drawn to our Program, often not even knowing why, until after they have had time to apply the information we teach and model.
The CIHR Training Program in Health Law and Policy is provided in partnership with the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research, Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation, Institute of Genetics, Institute of Gender and Health, and Institute of Health Services and Policy Research.
The National Law Enforcement Training Center (NLETC) was established by Jim Lindell to provide support and continuity of vital training to the law enforcement community. It is dedicated to providing officers with dynamic training in handgun/long gun retention and disarming (HLGRD), safe lateral vascular neck restraints (LVNR®), and a complete control/defensive tactics trainer certification program.
The Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Officers Association was chartered on April 7, 1986 with 22 charter members. There were an additional 24 members admitted, making 46 total, before charter membership was closed. The Association meets every other month for one afternoon. We also have a three day workshop and a four day annual conference each year. The annual conference location is rotated between the three grand divisions of the state.
Beginning in 2000, in an effort to increase the professionalism of Federal law enforcement training, a task force of key training leaders from principal Federal and state law enforcement agencies began work to collaboratively conduct research to establish a premier training accreditation model.
