Northern Periphery Programme was part of the European Structural Funds INTERREG IIIB Programmes. For the 2007-2013 Structural Fund periods, co-operation will continue under the European Territorial Co-operation Objective. The new programme will be called the Northern Periphery Programme 2007-2013. The overall aim of the programme is to encourage joint projects that address the priorities for co-operation shared by the participating countries
