Our mission is to provide prospective lactation consultants and other health professionals with programs related to lactation and breastfeeding information that is practical, current, and evidence-based. LEC is approved as a provider by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE), which is a nonprofit corporation established to develop and administer a voluntary certification program for lactation consultants.
