The Adoption Council of Canada (ACC) is the umbrella organization for adoption in Canada. Based in Ottawa, the ACC raises public awareness of adoption, promotes placement of waiting children and stresses the importance of post-adoption services. Adoption Awareness Program - a continuing program begun in fall 1997 is made possible by grants from the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the ongoing support of Wendy's Restaurants of Canada.
