Our mission at the National Center for Homeopathy is to promote health through homeopathy. By providing general education to the public about homeopathy, and specific education to homeopaths, we help to make homeopathy available throughout the United States. This web site, our "open to the public" annual meeting, and our work with the media help us reach people who are new to homeopathy with accurate, current, and helpful information.
ABC Homeopathy started with the introduction of the remedy finder, way back in August 2001. The remedy finder began as a personal project. Initially the site was not commercial - we had no shop, and no ads. However, as the site has grown in popularity, it has needed more and more resources, and making it profitable was the only way to make it self sustaining.
NUPATH is the largest and oldest national professional association for homeopaths in Canada. Homeopathy (after 200 years!) is riding the wave of increased public acceptance, and demand for alternative and complementary medicine. While homeopathy is legal in Ontario, and there are many practitioners in other provinces, there was no national standards-setting body until NUPATH was established in 1993 to this end.
