We are a group of young carers [young people caring for a relative who has a disability or is dealing with alchohol or drug abuse], hear our experiences and allow us to support you.
We are the Bubblycrew, we are a group of young carers that live in Hammersmith and Fulham. Each of us cares for a family member suffering from a disability or a long-term illness.
Carers SA is the peak Carers organisation representing all Carers in South Australia. An Association exists in each State with the National body being located in Canberra. Carers SA was established in 1989 and provides information and advocacy for people who have taken on a caring role. The Association uses direct feedback from Carers to develop policy and advocate at all levels of government on behalf of Carers.
Carers NZ was established by carers, for carers, in the mid 1990s and became a national charitable trust in 1998. We provide information, advocacy and support for family caregivers and would be happy to forward you our newsletters and other resources. If you work with or support family carers, we also provide resources for professionals.
Carers WA is a non-profit community based organisation and registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of the estimated 220,000 family Carers living in Western Australia. Part of the National Carers Association, we are the peak body recognised both state and federally, as the voice of family Carers, representing your interests in the Western Australian community.
